Ask My Heather was bought from Martin Keating at the Goffs August sale. He went to Gary Rutherford to be broken in before beginning his training career over hurdles.
His name is Ask Heather in memory of owner Ron’s late wife.

This mare has been broken in and trained at Girsonfield after Shaun Humphries bought her for £1200 as a yearling. She is having a great season by winning twice and being placed four times and never out of the prize money! She won at Hexham with Henry Brooke and Sedgefield with Sam Coltherd.

Bought at the sales in May, Avoid De Master was previously with Fergal O’Brian. He is in full training for our new partnership of Castle View Racing and the Girsonfield Racing Club.
He has never been out of the prizes this season with two 2nds, a win at Newcastle over 2m, and a win at Hexham over 3m.

‘Bob’ has just arrived on the yard after a short spell in Ireland with Gavin Cromwell. He needs some time but is proving very promising so far. His sibling, Come on Gruff, has won a bumper and two hurdle races over 2.4m including at Ludlow in March and is now rated 115.
We are looking for owners to create a partnership for him. He will start his career by running in bumpers.

Bought originally for 120K as a yearling Clear Angel had various problems before we bought him for 1500 at the online Tatts sale in Feb 2021. Straight to Phil Cramp at Hambleton Vets to get his bone chip removed and then three months recoup.
He has now rewarded our patience by winning his first race for us over 6f and only beaten by a neck in his last race over 7f.

Placed in his only two Point to Points in Ireland on Soft and Good ground. We bought him at the Goffs May sale and gave him time to grow and mature – he is a big horse. He has rewarded us by winning over hurdles and being 3rd in his first Novice Chase in May. He will go chasing this season for his owners Ron, Martin, James and the Girsonfield Racing Club.

His last two wins came straight after racing was allowed after lockdown. He has followed up his wins with a third in a Class 3. He has had various issues this year but we are delighted that he is back on the racecourse and hopefully back to his winning ways shortly.

Konik King has had a few runs in Ireland and was 4th out of 13 runners in a Point to Point in December 2021.
At over 17.1hh, he is one of the biggest racehorses you will see and has clearly needed time to mature. We will train him for a start to his UK career this Spring but will see the best of him after his summer break.

This five-year old gelding is out of Morning with Ivan who went back into training after weaning him. Morning with Ivan won five races for us over hurdles bringing her tally to twelve races over Flat and Hurdles. He has shown promise this season coming 2nd at Newcastle.

Virgil has been given plenty of time to mature and did not show much until winning at Hexham in November 2019. Since then he has been ultra consistent with coming 2nd three times and winning twice this season.
